At Steaks and Game, we take our sausage seriously, and only source from vendors that use 100%, all natural, grass-fed and free-range New Zealand Wapiti Elk. The flavor is rich and robust, the texture fine and the meat naturally lean. Lean, natural and flavorful, elk sausages are a great low fat, high protein alternative to pork and beef sausages, without sacrificing any flavor. Perfect for breakfast, casseroles, stews and stuffing. At Steaks and Game we source our elk meat from family-owned farms in New Zealand. The animals are always naturally raised and never given hormones, antibiotics or steroids, and they’re allowed to roam freely to feed on fertile pastures.
