This spectacular Wagyu New York Strip is the steak to impress, and one of our favorite cuts around here. You might know this also as the Kansas City Strip, a NY Strip is always flavorful and juicy, but our Kobe-style New York Strip is a step above. Wagyu cattle are naturally predisposed to develop more intramuscular fat, meaning, insane amount of mouthwatering marbling – that succulent webbing of creamy, rich fat throughout the meat.
At Marble Score 5 (in the 1 to 12 scale), this Wagyu Strip Steak rich and buttery, beautifully marbled throughout with that mouthwatering creamy intramuscular fat. Marbling means flavor, and this much marbling means beefy flavor and incredible, butter-knife soft texture that just melts in your mouth.
These steaks have been hand-cut by our expert butchers, and come in a variety of different sizes to satisfy all hunger levels. They’re also available packs of 2 steaks for intimate dinners, or packs of 12 steaks for large gatherings.
Imported from Australia, Greg Norman’s Wagyu cattle comes from the same breeds used for the famed Japanese Kobe beef, raised 18 months free range, then finished with a special Japanese formulation of grain for 360 days to ensure that fantastic tenderness.
Grilling advice: We suggest that you cook on a grill pan rather than an open flame, as that extra fat marbling on Wagyu beef will melt over the grill and may cause flare-ups.
