Wagyu Raw Corned Eye Round

Buying our Wagyu Corned Eye Round raw allows you to prepare this tasty cut in whichever manner is your favorite, slicing your beef as thick or as thinly as you like for a truly bespoke finished dish. Sourced from premium Australian Wagyu cattle, their signature well-marbled flesh, savory flavor, and beautifully tender texture make Wagyu the ideal choice for high-quality corned beef.

Our raw Wagyu Corned eye round is sold singly or in packs of four, with each round weighing in at a hefty six pounds. Individually vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to lock in flavor and moisture, our separately sealed corned eye rounds will keep your freezer well-stocked for whenever you feel the need to cook up some delicious Wagyu corned beef!

Our Australian Wagyu cattle from Broadleaf is finished for a minimum of 360 days on a specialty diet of white grain corn and molasses silage after being field raised naturally and brought up on their mother’s milk. This specialty diet is what helps create that wonderfully even marbling throughout the meat, the rich flavor, and the meltingly soft texture we associate with the world’s finest Wagyu beef. Never given any antibiotics, hormones, or growth stimulants, these cattle are raised to maturity using the natural, time-tested methods made famous by the Wagyu farmers of Japan.

Very often, you’ll find corned beef made from brisket (either the point or the flat) or the round. While both muscles come from opposite ends of the steer, they each see a lot of use throughout the cow’s lifetime, making them two of the toughest muscles available, ideal for the corning process. Corning beef is a simple salt-curing technique where the fibrous cut of meat is essentially pickled in a salty brine filled with various flavorful spices. By cooking the meat in the salty solution for a long period of time, you end up with an extremely flavorful and easily sliceable meat perfect for sandwiches, bagels, or simply eaten alongside root vegetables and potatoes in the classic Irish manner.
