Sweet and smoky, Nueske's cherrywood smoked bacon is smoked for 24 hours – that’s a full day – over glowing cherrywood embers, slowly absorbing that delicious sweet smoke until the smokiness develops fully – and wonderfully. The flavor is not overly chimney-smoke, but rather mild and subtle, enveloping. Perfect to give new dimension to breakfast sandwiches, BLTs, and just about everything that calls for bacon (which is everything, in our book!). Very lean, Nueske’s bacon shrinks very little when cooked.

The Nueske family Applewood smoking came to Wisconsin in 1887 from Europe, and with them they brought the European skills of Applewood smoking and dozens of recipes for spicing and curing meat. Since 1933, they’ve been selling their delicious bacons, turkey and other delicious cured meats, always using lean meats, hand-blending their imported spices, and never using binders, fillers or extenders.
