The Nueske family Applewood smoking came to Wisconsin in 1887 from Europe, and with them they brought the European skills of Applewood smoking and dozens of recipes for spicing and curing meat. Since 1933, they’ve been selling their delicious bacons, turkey and other delicious cured meats, always using lean meats, hand-blending their imported spices, and never using binders, fillers or extenders.
