Merguez Sausage

Merguez is one of our most popular sausages for sale. This North African lamb sausage marries the deep and hearty flavors of lamb meat with aromatic spices like Moroccan Harissa and cumin, and the spiciness of the cayenne pepper cutting in with just the right amount of heat. Grill this up and serve with your favorite side, like polenta or couscous. Merguez lamb sausage is also an excellent choice for stuffing lamb, adds great flavor to a Bolognese sauce, and makes for an incredible ragout.

The sausages are terrific! The spices are savory and flavorful, but not too hot. The blend of spices enhances the flavor of the lamb. These sausages can be eaten separately, even on buns, or used to accompany your favorite dishes. I had them with Spanish Tortillas -- as a replacement for traditional chorizo. They were perfect!
